A person committed suicide at Dhubri quarantine centeron Monday morning. The person identified as Sunil Roy (50) was in quarantine atAziz Lodge in Dhubri town.
According to Dhubri Circle Officer, Joy ShankarSharma, the swab sample of the person has been collected on June 14 and hisreport was tested negative which came on June 17.
The deceased was staying at Aziz Lodge and he was directed to stay at home quarantine after his report was tested negative for COVID-19.
Reports said that he hanged himself on Mondaymorning at the hotel room No 107 which was witnessed by hotel staff.
