Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti (MASS) on June 04 sent more than 10,000 postcards to the President and Prime Minister protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016.
Lakhimpur district unit of MASS also conducted a rally while on the way to send the postcards from the post office.
It may be mentioned here that the organisation had been collecting signatures on postcards for around a month.
"We had a target of 10,000 cards but we got much more than that. People are now demanding more postcards to be signed" said a member.
