Manju Rani wins silver

India’s Manju Rani has settled for a silver medal on Sunday in the Women’s World Boxing Championship in Ulan-Ude, Russia after losing the final against Ekaterina Paltceva. Manju lost against the second-seeded Russian by 4-1 in the 48 kg.

She was the only Indian to enter the final of the tournament after beating Thailand’s Chuthamat Raksat 4-1 on Saturday.

Manju Rani wins silver in WWBC

Manju Rani hails from Rohtak district of Haryana and earlier this year, she won a silver medal on debut at the prestigious Strandja Memorial Tournament.
