Meghalaya reports 2 more COVID-19 deaths

Two persons succumbed to the coronavirus infection on Sunday at Shillong in Meghalaya, pushing the death tally to four in the region.

As of July 18, 15 more COVID-19 cases were detected taking the total number of active positive cases to 367.

Director of Health Services Dr. Aman War said, "26,940 samples have been tested, out of which 26,000 were found negative and results for 940 samples are awaited". He also informed that so far 22,504 people have returned to the State.
