Thechairman of a Co-operative Society has been brutally attacked by a group ofmiscreants in Tamarhat area under Dhubri district on Saturday night. Theinjured has been identified as Maidul Islam, who is the vice president ofKokrajhar district Youth Congress.
Accordingto reports, Maidul was heading back to home, when the miscreants brutallyattacked him with sharp weapons. He has been admitted to a hospital inBongaigaon with critical injuries.
Meanwhile,Police initiated an investigation following the incident.
