A youth from Nalbari district in Assam Lintu Kishore Sarma has given death threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through Facebook.
The death threat has been posted during a campaign meeting for the 2021 Legislative Assembly election.
In his threat post, Lintu wrote, "The aim of the terrorist will be PM Modi but Himanta will die. Himanta's life is in my hand. If he wants to stay alive then he should give me a job in Nalbari DC office."
Lintu Sarma in his threat said that if he will be offered a job in the Nalbari DC office then Himanta could escape from death.
A case has been registered against Lintu Kishore Sarma in Nalbari Sadar Thana by one Samejuddin Ahmed.
