The BJP is unlikely to grow in Assam in the Lok Sabha poll as Congress and AIUDF would continue to hold ground, said an opinion poll conducted by Time Now-VMR.
The opinion poll said that votes have been polarized in favour of Congress but the figures showed by them says that NDA would get 8, UPA-3, AIUDF-2 and Other-1.
At this moment, the NDA has 8, UPA and AIUDF have three each. According to the Times Now, the opinion poll was conducted last week.
Meanwhile in the whole country, the same opinion poll suggested that NDA would most likely to form the next government even if there is probability a hung house.
The Opinion poll said that NDA would get 250+ seats, which short of the simple majority while UPA would increase its tally to 146 and Others 144.
Although the survey did not give any real change in number for BJP in Assam but good news for them is that votes are consolidating in favour of them.
However bad news for NDA is that despite the high drumming up of the Citizenship Amendment Bill, it does not have very impact in West Bengal where only seven seats are likely to win.
