1. GMCH Delays Handing Over Bodies Of Covid-19 Victims To Kin

In a shocking incident, a corpse of a coronavirus infected patient who passed away on Monday evening was not handed over to the family by the authorities at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) after 24 hours of the death. In another similar incident, the corpse of another patient infected with COVID-19, Ramesh Chandra Deka, who passed away at 10 am on Monday morning, wasn't handed over to the family.

A Gauhati University student has been arrested on Monday evening from Sivasagar for allegedly impersonating the image of Assam's Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and circulating the disinformation of a forged appeal by the CM on social media.

4. COVID-19: Centre Warns Against Use Of N-95 Masks
