01. Finally Lord Ram Will Get Its Own Temple: PM Modi 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed that Ram Lalla (infant Lord Ram) who has been living in tents for years will finally get a temple of his own now. "Today, Ram Janmbhoomi breaks free of the cycle of breaking and getting built again – that had been going on for centuries," said PM Modi.

02. COVID-19+ Mothers Can Breastfeed Their Child: WCD

The Women and Child Development (WCD) Ministry has instructed all field functionaries and healthcare providers to reassure mothers to initiate and continue to breastfeed their infants as per guidelines even if they have tested positive for COVID-19 as breastfeeding helps to protect a baby even if the mother is infected with coronavirus.

03. Alaboi Battle: Govt To Set Up War Memorial

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Ministers Himanta Biswa Sarma and Keshab Mahanta paid rich tribute to the Assam soldiers who attained martyrdom in the 1669 Alaboi Battle. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also announced that the state government would set up a war memorial at Kamrup as a part of the government's rich tribute to the devotion, dedication, martyrdom of the soldiers.

Assam's Kamrup Metro district administration has imposed Section 144 of CrPC in some parts of Guwahati. The areas are Bharalumukh, Fatasil Ambari, Gorchuk, and Azara Police Station, said reports. Assembly of more than five persons has been prohibited without prior permission from the competent authorities, said reports.

10. Case Against 11 Sanitizer Brands After Quality Test In Haryana

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday said cases have been registered against 11 sanitizer brands after their samples failed quality parameters. "Out of the reports received so far, 109 samples passed quality tests, while 14 failed. Among these, 9 brands were found substandard, while 5 brands were found with excessive quantity of methanol present in it, which is harmful," he said.

Ninety per cent of a sample group of coronavirus-recovered patients from a prominent hospital in China's Wuhan city where the pandemic broke out have reported lung damage and five per cent of them are again in quarantine after testing positive for the virus, according to a media report on Wednesday.

The election for the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile will be held next year, the Chief Election Commission of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) announced on Wednesday. The 2021 general elections will be held to elect the fifth directly elected Sikyong or president of the CTA and the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile (TPiE).

Indian women's T20I captain Harmanpreet Kaur on Wednesday said she wants the first edition of the women's Indian Premier League (IPL) to take place in India when the "time is right".
