Additional Director General of Assam (Law & Order) GP Singh took to Twitter on Thursday stating 726 Assam Police personnel have tested positive for coronavirus infection as of date out of which 350 have recovered. Singh added, "We've unfortunately lost one colleague till date. 778 Cops are under quarantine while 20 have rejoined duty".

A BSF jawan was arrested for killing a woman constable of the Delhi Police at her rented accommodation on the suspicion of her having an affair with someone else.
