With elections nearing, there are also incidents of violence being reported from various parts of the country. In one such incident, a NPP worker was allegedly shot dead by NSCN (IM) in Arunachal Pradesh.
The incident has taken place in West Khonsa constituency of the Tirap District and the deceased worker has been identified as Jeli Anna.
According to reports, militants of the outfit has also attacked another man critically injuring him.
