A one-horned rhino was killed by poachers in Kaziranga National Park (KNP) on Tuesday.
As per a report, its horn was chopped off and taken. The carcass was recovered late Tuesday near the Hanuman forest camp in Kohora range of the park.
Officials say it was the first incident of poaching this year.
In 2020, three similar incidents were reported from the national park.
