Orang National Park reopens tomorrow

The Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park will re-open from October 26 (Saturday) for tourists and wildlife buffs. The official informed that Assam Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya will officially reopen the park for 2019-20 seasons.

With the tourist season around the corner, visitors are expected to throng the park for its rich flora and fauna including the one-horned rhino.

The authorities said roads and bridges that were damaged in the flooding during the monsoons have been repaired so that tourists can take elephant rides to see the one-horned rhino along with a variety of other animals and birds.
