Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Pijush Hazarika made a sudden visit at Sorukhetri hospital at Sartherbari on Monday. Hazarika's visit to the hospital has come after a local youth has complained against the hospital authorities to minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Thelocal youth complained against the hospital authorities through an SMS to thehealth minister after which Hazarika has made a sudden visit.
The minister also reprimanded the doctors for the negligence of duties.
Thelocals alleged that the doctors don't prescribe medicines to the patients andthat the doctors also neglect the patients' for treatment.
