PM Modi insulting Army: Rahul Gandhi

Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over job creation. Addressing the media in Delhi, Rahul asked, “PM Modi has ruined the economy. Where are the jobs?”

Attacking Narendra Modi for his remarks on the surgical strikes during UPA, the Congress president said, “When PM Modi says that surgical strikes during UPA were done in video games, he is not insulting Congress but the Army.”

Rahul Gandhi further said that the PM was insulting the security forces. “Indian Army is for the whole country, it does not belong to one individual. The PM should have the honour of not insulting the Army.”

The Congress president also said that BJP government had “bowed down” to terrorist Masood Azhar and released him. “Strictest of actions should be taken against Masood Azhar, but who bowed down to terror and released him? It was the BJP Govt.”

Stating that he apologised to Supreme Court for attributing “Chowkidar Chor Hai” remark to the apex court, the Congress president said, “I made a comment attributed to SC so I apologized. I did not apologize to BJP or Modi ji. ‘Chowkidar Chor hai’ will remain our slogan.”

During the press conference, Rahul also said that the Prime Minister needs to hold at least one press conference before the Lok Sabha elections are over.
