In a recent development, the police have arrested five people in connection to Dokmoka mob attack. The arrested were reportedly involved in circulating videos of the incident over social media.
They have been found involved either in the capturing of video of the incident of killing Nilotpal and Abhijeet on June 08 at Panjuri Gaon under the Dokmoka Police Station or were responsible for circulating the video on social media.
The five arrested are Bireswar Basumatary, Chingthong Engti, Dhani Rongphar aka Antony, Pabitra Rongpi and Tony Rongphar.
Bireswar Basumatary had made a Facebook post wherein he said, "Child Trafficking caught by dengaon villager just now!"
