Dergaon Police seized a car carrying an ATM on Sunday. The vehicle with registration no AS 14H 6433 was seized at National Highway no 37 at Dergaon.
According to police the ATM was uprooted and taken away by robbers that contained around Rs 50 lakh. The miscreants fled the spot after leaving the ATM in car. Police are now taking help of CCTVs installed in nearby buildings to get footage of the incident and nab the miscreants.
On the other hand unidentified miscreants vandalised two SBI ATM machines at Sivsagar's Amguri at the wee hours of Sunday. The miscreants damaged the machines with an attempt to loot money. As per reports, the miscreants came in a red-coloured car. The ATMs are around 300 metres away from the Amguri Police Station.
