After Pratidin Time's report on declared as Bangladeshi getting salary from the Government of Assam, the Border Police on Thursday carried out an operation at the PWD office of Morigaon. The Border police searched documents related to the declared foreigner – Chiraj Ali.
According to reports of Pratidin Time, Chiraj Ali has been getting salaries from government of Assam since 2014. The Foreigners' Tribunal and Gauhati High Court had declared him as foreigner and rejected his bail plea in 2014.
