Priyanka asks Modi to clear his stand on Godse

PM Modi on Friday expressed deep anguish over Sadhvi Pragya's statement and said that he will never forgive her for calling Godse a 'patriot'.

Reacting to PM Modi's comment on Pragya Thakur's remark, Priyanka Gandhi said that PM Modi should clear his state on Nathutam Godse.

"It's a cop-out. You are the Prime Minister of the country, there is a question of somebody stating that the person who killed the founder of this country and created its democratic foundation, is a patriot. It's not enough to say that in your heart, you will not forgive them. You are a political leader; you have to state your political position. What is your position on the killer of Mahatma Gandhi?" Priyanka Gandhi asked Modi.

Meanwhile, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kailash Satyarthi slammed BJP's candidate from Bhopal Lok Sabha seat Pragya Singh Thakur for her remark that Mahatma Gandhi's killer Nathuram Godse was a "deshbhakt (patriot)".

Satyarthi said that Gandhi is above power and politics and peoplelike Pragya are killing the soul of India by atacking Gandhi. He urged the BJPto follow 'Rajdharam' and throw Sadhvi Pragya out of the party.
