Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday kick started his campaign in Wayanad constituency in Kerala, from where he is contesting this LS polls, apart from Amethi. He began his campaign by offering prayers at the famous Thirunelli temple.
Addressing a public meeting at Wayanad, Rahul slammed PM Narendra Modi over his 'Mann Ki Baat' programme and said, "I've not come here as a politician who is going to tell you what to do or what I think. I'm not here to tell you my 'Mann ki baat', I'm here to understand what is inside your heart, your soul."
"I don't want to have a relationship of couple of months with you, I want to have a life long relationship with you," said the Congress president.
Notably, his party recently launched a new Twitter account named Rahul Gandhi – Wayanad.
