Rajanaikanth and Kamal Hasan may come together politically for development of Tamil Nadu unleashing a wave of expectation since yesterday in the entire South.
Actor-politicians Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan indicatedtheir willingness to work together politically, triggering speculation thatthey could turn the Tamil Nadu assembly elections of 2021 a blockbuster ofsorts.
Responding to questions whether there could be a miracle ofhim and Rajinikanth working together politically, Kamal Haasan — who was onhis way home after receiving an honorary doctorate from Odisha – said:"Rajini and I will travel together if there is a need for Tamil Nadu'sdevelopment. If there is a need for travelling together we will tell. Now, workis important. We can talk about our policies later. We are together for 43years, we joining together is no miracle".
An hour later at the same airport, Rajinikanth who was onway to Goa, told reporters: "If there is a situation that requires for thedevelopment of the Tamil people, I would join hands with Kamal Haasan".
On Sunday, at a function celebrating Kamal Haasan's 60-yearjourney in cinema, Rajinikanth hinted at working together.
If this happens then it would be a major political coup as both BJP and Congress are trying to woo the Superstars. But both the actors have refused to side with any of the party with Kamal Hasan more forthcoming against BJP.
