Prior to that, the Union Minister took part in the wreath-laying ceremony on the bodies of the troopers at a CRPF camp in Budgam district.
Rajnath will also review the overall security in Jammu and Kashmir in the aftermath of the suicide attack by the Pakistan-based terror organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), where 44 CRPF jawans were martyred.
Earlier, Singh said that the government will “undertake whatever it takes to avenge this”.
