SouthIndian super star Rajnikanth today confirmed that he would attend the oathtaking ceremony of Narendra Modi on Thursday and called him a charismaticleader like Jawaharlal Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi.
Boththe south Indian actor Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan have been invited to theoath taking ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister for the second termafter the massive victory of the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.
Rajnikanth,however, stated that this victory is a victory for Modi as he is a charismaticleader in India after former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi.
Commentingon the Congress President Rahul Gandhi's decision of quitting from his post,Rajnikanth said that he should not resign and that he should prove it that hecan do it. The opposition should be strong in democracy.
Rajnikanthis yet to announce his political party as he has announced last year that hewould join politics adding that his party will contest in the all the 234 seatsin the next Tamil Nadu assembly polls due in 2021.
Beforethe starting of Lok Sabha election, Rajnikanth said that Narendra Modi wasstronger than 10 persons fighting against him. He has given an example like when10 persons go against one person than who is stronger. Those 10 or the personsthey are aligning against, he asked. He has set the example on the possibilityof a mega opposition alliance against Modi.
