Ram Madhav asks opposition to contest election from Pakistan

BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav on Sunday asked the oppositions to contest elections from Pakistan. While addressing the media in State BJP office in Guwahati, Madhav also said that the oppositions do not have any real issue in this election.

"The opposition is fighting a clueless battle. They are supporting the derogatory statements made by the leaders of our neighbouring nation regarding our armed forces," said the senior BJP leader, adding, "Moreover oppositions are questioning the credibility of our armed forces and their tweets are getting retweeted by the users of Pakistan."

Slamming the Congress for its alleged alliance with AIUDF in Assam, BJP Northeast in-charge, Madhav said, "As far as Assam is concerned, Congress has come to an unholy alliance with AIUDF in the State and people of Assam will reject this unholy alliance."

Speaking on the issue of party's decision of not letting Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to contest the LS polls, Madhav said that the leaders of the party have given the responsibility to Himanta Biswa Sarma to strengthen the party's base in the North East.
