Following the death of Businessman Saiful Islam, Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti's (KMSS) Dhubri District Committee on Sunday staged a road blockade on 39th national highway.
The KMSS Dhubri District Committee along with the locals of Bilasipara's Bangalipara, blocked the national highway demanding punishment of the culprits allegedly involved in the murder of the businessman
Islam was murdered by on 25th June. But police has not been able to identify the culprits till now which triggered the protest.
The blockade was, however, lifted after the police and security personnel intervened.
