In a collision between a private vehicle and a truck onThursday night at Boko's Jarapara area, two persons were seriously injured andwere brought to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati.
However, one of them letter succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Kuldeep Kalita and theinjured is Pritimoy Boro.
Boko police has taken the truck bearing the registrationnumber AS01-AY-2011 under its custody.
In another accident on Thursday night, one person identifiedas Mantu Kalita died on the spot after an unidentified vehicle hit him frombehind.
Kalita was an employee at Industrial Growth Centre, Chaygaon,and he was on his way to work when the accident occurred.
Boko police was investigating the case.
