Speculation is on rife that another Congress leaderRupjyoti Kurmi is likely to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In what has become a common trend now, three-time CongressMLA from Mariani, Rupjyoti Kurmi is the next big name set to quit Congress.
Speaking to reporters, Kurmi said that he is here to servethe people but without Congress government he is unable to fulfill all thecommitments. "People asked me to join BJP so that I can do more work. Hence I amnow confused now whether to join BJP or not" adding that but if BJP provideshim with an opportunity to be a part of them and serve the people then he willjoin the party.
If Kurmi will join BJP then he will be the third to quitthe party after Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi and party in-charge of Assam HarishRawat resigns from their respective posts.
