The Supreme Court of India has deferred hearing of the petition filed by Congress MP Sushmita Dev against PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC)
The case will next be heard on Friday.
A two-judge bench was hearing the matter on Tuesday when the court asked the petitioners to wait for the Election Commission's (EC) decision.
The apex Court on Tuesday was hearing Congress MP Sushmita Dev's plea against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for alleged hate speeches and political propaganda in the name of defence forces.
