In a notification released by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, today announced the opportunity to the students belonging to six minority communities for availing scholarships under Pre-Matric Scholarship scheme for 2020-21.
In this connection, Assam Minorities Development Board has declared the invitation for online applications for the same.
The last date for the submission for fresh applications and renewal scholarships is October 31, this year. The applicant should be of the notified minority communities – Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Zorastrian, Muslims, and Christians.
The scholarship will be awarded to the students of Class I to X who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents and guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs 1 lakh. Scholarships will not be provided to more that two students of a family.
