The Assam Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has stated that it will declare results of HSLC examination within May 20.
According to reports, the evaluation process of the HSLC and AHM exams are taking longer than expected pertaining to the election training entrusted on the teachers.
It has also come to light that the fact that the teachers have also been enrolled in the update process of NRC has also further hindered the process of evaluation of the exams.
It may be noted that evaluation is underway in 38 zones across the State.
Controller of Examination, SEBA, Nayanjyoti Sarma has informed that measures are being taken up to deal with the manpower crisis and that the Board is positive about declaring the results within May 20.
Sarma further added that out of the 38 zones, 21 have already completed evaluation process and submitted their set of marks after completing the process of evaluation. The remaining are set to complete it within next three days.
