In a shocking incident, a girl has died of drowning in a pond that is situated within the premises of the Little Flower School, Hatigaon, Guwahati. As per Hatigaon Police, the girl named Rupali Musahari, a resident of Jordanpara village of Sonitpur district, stumbled into the deep pond and died. Her body has been recovered by Police and SDRF personnel.
The school authorities, however, have been accused of trying to hide the unfortunate incident from the Media. Speaking to a certain media agency, the authorities denied of any such incident to have occurred. On the contrary, the Police has shared details about the incident.
