In a painful and shocking incident, a teacher of Balipara High school is suspected to have been attacked by acid, raped, and murdered by miscreants. The victim, who went untraceable even since she left for morning walk on Monday, was found dead inside U.N. Brahma Academy in Kolaigaon, Udalguri on Tuesday.
Although the Police and SDRF personnel led a search operation today morning after they found a pair of sandals lying on the banks of the pond situated within the premises of the said institution, their efforts remained largely futile.
It was only upon sniffing a smell coming out of the UN Brahma Academy, the body of the deceased was eventually found. The situation is even more shocking in light of the fact that the institution is located at just a stone's throw from 1 number Kolaigaon Army Camp.
