The Arm Wrestling Association of Assam's state teamcomprising 36 players leaves for the 43rd National Arm Wrestling Championshipat Bhilai in Chhatisgarh from 19th to 23rd June 2019.
As per reports, more than 1000 Arm-wrestlers will take part in the event.
The Assam Team:
Boys: Rajib Bonia, Manish Sahu, Monikanta Yadav, Pranjal Das,Aman Tutla, Pinak Biswas, Mohit Sarma, Plaban Jyoti Mahanta, Santosh Sahu.
Men: Surajit Paul,Sahil Hussain, Amlan Bibhav Hazarika, Tridip Medhi, Yusuf Khan, Masum Janid, Amardip Singh, Kanan Borgohain, Bikash Sarma, Siddhartha Malakar (C), Jagadish Baruah, Abed Ali, Rudra Chetia, Pritam Bodo, Nilim Akash Medhi.
Women: Kritika Das, Priyanka Shill, Rita Sengnarpi, Nitasha Chetri, Hiroshima Bhuyan, Chetana Sarma (C), Devina Bodo, Dristi Naina Das, Teisi Stanly Hussain, Bhabani Sonowal.
Specially-abled: Rakesh Kumar Sahu.

The winners of the event will get chance to represent India in 41st World Arm Wrestling Championship to be held in Constanta Romania in October 2019.
