The Tripura government has reduced the syllabi by 30 per cent for the examinations of classes 9 to 12.

The announcement was made by the state's secondary education board president Dr. Bhabatosh Saha where they made this decision for the year 2022.

As per reports, Dr. Saha said that the decision was taken considering the current pandemic situation in Tripura.
The Tripura government has taken such a decision for the second consecutive time keeping a view to the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As per reports, the students of Classes 9 to 12 prepared for only 70% of the syllabus while the 30% was curtailed.
Back in the month of April owing to the surge in COVID-19 cases in the state, the Tripura Government ordered the closure of all educational institutions in the state including schools, colleges, and universities.

The 10 and 12 board examinations were initially postponed this year for the academic session 2020-2021 due to the Covid situation in the country.

The state government however, is yet to come up with a final decision on the concerning issue.
