The city girl molestation incident has taken a new turn after the police recorded the statement of the senior journalist who lodged the complaint regarding the incident at Panabazar Women Police Station.
According to reports, the senior journalist stated that the girl's father was murdered by one of her uncles. The journalist also stated that the girl's mother informed him about her husband's murder during a telephonic conversation.
Meanwhile, the Guwahati police have arrested two of her uncle regarding the molestation case. The arrested were identified as Hiruprasad Deka and Tankeswar Handique.
It may be mentioned here that the girl has recently alleged that she was sexually molested by her family members over the last few days. The girl was brought up by her maternal aunt after her mother entered into a second marriage, and father lost his life. During her stay, the girl was allegedly molested on different occasions by her cousin and uncles.
