Two women sustained injuriesdue to grenade blast at Thangmeiband locality in capital Imphal today evening,officials said.
The incident occurred at around 7.15 pm after unknown miscreants lobbed the Chinese-made grenade at a two-wheeler showroom cum servicing center.
The injured, who are in mid-thirties have been admitted to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
Officials said thatextortion-related activities may be the cause behind the attack.
