In a weird incident, a man sacrificed his life after participating in a challenge at Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh.
Theman was identified as Subhash Yadav (42) who had accepted a challenge of hisfriend to eat 50 eggs for Rs. 2000. Police said that Yadav had accompanied hisfriend to Jaunpur's Bibiganj market area to eat eggs, but after an argumentbroke out between the two, they decided to settle it with a bet of Rs. 2000paid to the person who would eat 50 eggs.
Yadavaccepted the challenge and started eating eggs but after eating 41 eggs, hecollapsed and fell unconscious after he started eating the 42nd egg.
Thelocals rushed him immediately to the district hospital from where he wasreferred to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences. But doctorsdeclared him dead after an hour.
Accordingto reports, doctors claimed that Yadav died due to over-eating but familymembers refused to comment on the incident.
