UPSC exam : 13 candidates bring laurels to Assam

The UPSC has declared its final results of IAS, IPS and other civil service exam 2018. Kanishak Kataria, a B. Tech graduate from IIT Bombay has topped the civil services final exam. Srushti Jayant Deshmukh is topper among women as she secured the fifth rank.

From Assam below are the candidates who have secured ranks in the national level examination.

As many as 13 candidates from Assam have passed the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2018 examination, the results of which have been declared on Friday.

  1. Tanmay Basisth Sharma : 10th position
  2. Mriganka Sekhar Pathak : 103rd position
  3. Urtirna Ranjita Sharma : 130th position
  4. Namita Sharma : 145th position
  5. Dipankar Choudhary : 166th position
  6. Garima Sharma : 170th position
  7. Rishava Gargar : 200th position
  8. Aranyak Saikia : 287th position
  9. Fwwrman Bharma : 429th position
  10. Abhisekh Goswami : 525th position
  11. Tapas Basumatary : 645th position
  12. Saurav Sharma : 656th position
  13. Diksha Langthasa : 708th position

A total of 759 candidates (577 men and 182 women) have been recommended by the Commission for appointment to various Services.
