The Hung Yen Provincial Peoples' Committee will be happy to work hand in hand with Assam for the state's agricultural development, said Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. They are ready to provide Assam with the necessary technological support.
While welcoming a delegation headed by Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, Phong said that the farmers have been able to increase their per capita income in Vietnam due to proper banking facilities and market oriented production policies of the government.
Farmers of the province are reaping rich reward by applying biotechnology in their fields, said the Deputy Secretary.
