Amidst the havoc caused by Assam Flood over the past few days,people across the state and country have donated for flood relief in whatever waythey can and Assamese filmmaker Rima Das is also one of them who donated Rs.1lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
According to reports, the filmmaker also urged others tocontribute even a small amount in order to help the flood victims who are indistress.
Donating the amount, Rima said that the amount of relief wasgiven by Village Rockstars team.
Prior to this, rising cricketer of Assam Riyan Parag, ace sprinter Hima Das, Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar, Assamese actor Jatin Bora are among those who have donated for Assam flood.
In a social media post, Rima wrote, "It's really tragic that many people have lost their lives, homes and livelihood due to #AssamFloods. Our #VillageRockstars family has contributed Rs. 1lakh towards Chief Minister's Assam Relief Fund. We're doing our bit to help #RebuildAssam, request more and more people to contribute to CMO Assam."
