Vishwakarma Puja is being celebrated in the Guwahati along with the rest of Assam with great enthusiasm.
Lord Vishwakarma is depicted as the god of engineering and automobile. Hundreds of puja mandaps are seen along the streets in Guwahati as owners of autorikshaws, buses and taxis in the city performed pujas in their respective stands.
Visahwakarma Puja is also being celebrated with pomp and grandeur at the ISBT stand in Lokhra.
The only permanent Vishwakarma temple of Guwahati in the Maligaon area celebrated the auspicious occasion with devotees lining up to take blessings on the special day.
In Guwahati Viswakarma puja is being celebrated at different business organisation and Govt Departments with big pandal and decorations.
The electronic and print media houses of the state also celebrated Vishwakarma Puja at their offices. Leading assamese media houses Pratidin Time and Asomiya Pratidin also celebrated Vishwakarma Puja at their offices.
Assam Tribune, News Lives, DY365, Prag Channel, News 18 Assam also celebrated puja at their respective offices.
