MLA of West Guwahati constituency Ramendra Narayan Kalita has tested positive for COVID-19 today.
His result came today through swab test at GMCH after his health worsened on Monday.
Following the result, Kalita was admitted to GMCH.
As per sources, the MLA was at the forefront of the battle against the pandemic for long.
