In a sensationalincident, miscreant attacked a woman in Guwahati's Namghar Path of Rukmininagar.
Accordingto reports, the woman resided as a tenant in House no. 7 in the area and wasfound lying on her bed in a pool of blood.
The victimhad been immediately rushed to the GNRC Hospital and is undergoing treatment atthe ICU.
Theincident had taken place under mysterious circumstances and is beinginvestigated.
It has beeninformed that the woman has been living alone in the rented house for a yearnow.
