Wrong Time-Table Make Students Miss Exam

The malfeasance of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination will never come to an end and in a fresh new incident, as many as 41 students of 21 schools have failed to appear the HSLC compartmental examination on Saturday as they have been misinformed about the examination schedule.

The students of Fuleshwari Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Sivasagar have alleged that the school authorities have misinformed about the examination dates. The students alleged that the elective subject of Hindi and Computer Science papers were held on July 2 but the school authorities have informed them that the exam of these papers will be held on July 6 and accordingly the students went to appear for the examination. But it was after they arrived at the school that they come to know that the examination has already been held on July 2.

However, the Principal of the School Dipanjali Mahanta said that they were shocked when they saw that there were many absentees on the day of the examination. They said that they have no idea as to which time table the students have been referred to and that school has conducted the examination as per the examination schedule.

Meanwhile, the district administration said that it is not possible to re-conduct the examination for these students.

A single fault of the school authorities has put the lives of the students in darkness.
