Yudh-Abhyas 2019 begins between India and USA

These days a squad of Indian soldiers is showing their battle skills in America. In the war exercise-2019, which started on 5 September, the Indian Army along with the US Army is making its combat art more effective. During this time, Indian and American soldiers were seen dancing to the marching song of the Assam Regiment.

The joint military exercise, which began Sept. 5 at the Joint Base Lewis McCord near Washington, is taking a variety of military actions to understand each other’s organizational structure and combat processes.

The exercise will last until 18 September with an emphasis on common warfare, action against terrorism and mutual coordination. It is the largest joint military training and defense cooperation between India and the United States. In this war exercise, the armies of the two countries learn from each other’s expertise, planning, and operational implementation experiences.

The main objective of this exercise is to increase efficiency in counter-terrorism operations between the armies of the two countries. This is the 15th edition of the exercise. This combat exercise provides an opportunity to the armed forces of both countries to integrate training at the battalion level with joint planning at the Brigade level.
