Zubeen Appears Before Bhangagarh PS

Singer Zubeen Garg on Monday evening appeared before the Bhangagarh Police Station in connection with his disgraceful comments on Brahmin community. "Brahmins should be killed"– Garg landed in a fresh controversy after he stated the line at a cultural event.

Several cases have been lodged across Assam against the singer for his statement against the community at an event held at the Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) auditorium on Friday night.

During the programme, Garg who was also promoting his upcoming movie 'Kanchenjunga' told the audience that he had been consuming liquor and working 18 hours a day for the film for the past three days.

The case has been filed based on the complaint by the 'Bamun Suraksha Mancha'. The organisation has demanded that action be taken against Zubeen as soon as possible.
