Zubeen joins hands with AASU against CAB
Assam's singing sensation Zubeen Garg has always been quite vocal of his stance against the Citizenship Amendment Bill and now Zubeen has declared a series of protests against the government.
Addressing the press at the AASU office, the singer said, "Protests will go on against the controversial bill".
"We are not cattle, we will not carry out atrocities", said Zubeen adding, "They (government) should understand us."
The series of protests will start with a protest rally in Tezpur. On January 23, another protest will protest will be organized under the leadership of AASU in Latashil.
Zubeen declared these series of events after a discussion with AASU advisor Samujjal Bhattacharjee and said, "I have seen politics when it comes to Bangladeshis, right from my childhood", adding "Rather, it is better to acquire the entire Bangladesh".
However, the Assam's heart-throb hoped that all the controversies regarding the Bill will come to an end.
