2534 coronavirus cases (COVID-19) were detected today in Assam out of 44416 tests done in the last 24 hours. The active caseload of the state has now surged to 23701.
498 cases have been reported in Kamrup (M) followed 267 cases in Dibrugarh, 244 cases in Cachar and 145 cases in Kamrup (R).
Today, 1560 patients were discharged today and 58294 recoveries have been made so far. The total positive cases are now at 82201. Meanwhile, 203 deaths have been reported. The positivity rate is at 5.7% now.
