In a latest update, 28 inmates of Tezpur Central Jail have tested positive for coronavirus infection on Wednesday.
Rapid Antigen Tests were conducted on 40 prison inmates out of which 28 were detected positive.
So far, 56 inmates have already been tested positive in the Tezpur Jail.
