2nd edition of Indian Open Boxing to be held in Guwahati


The second edition of the Indian Open International Boxing Tournament is going to be held in Guwahati city from May 20 to May 24. Olympic bronze medallist Mary Kom will make her competitive debut in 51kg in the second edition of the India Open boxing tournament.

Notably, Guwahati hosted the 2017 edition of the AIBA Women’s Youth World Boxing Championships, where India earned record number of five gold medals. Assam’s Shiva Thapa, Ankushita Boro and Bhagyabati Kachari will be aiming to impress the home crowd.
